Ministry
Opportunities:
Children's
Ministries
Scripture teaches that Jesus had a great love and affection
for children, and we believe the Church should do the same.
The cornerstone of our teaching ministry is the Sunday School,
which lays the foundation of Biblical Truth. We teach these
truths through puppets, drama, video, multimedia, object lessons,
activities and reading. Although we use a traditional curriculum,
we have only one textbook - the Bible. Worshipping God is

Christian
Education
We offer Sunday School for all ages with the mission being
to help men and women, young people and children to know Jesus
and grow in their knowledge of Him. Our teachers are well
prepared and able to make lessons relevant to our day. We
also have small group Bible studies, seminars and various
interest groups.
Drama
Another tool we use to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ
is Drama. We use improvisation to supplement the theme of
worship or to aid the pastor in illustrating Biblical truths.
We use drama for worship and outreach. If you would like to
participate, please contact our music director.
Men's
Ministries
Godly men are abundant at Apopka Calvary, and it is our intent
to encourage fellowship, accountability and spiritual growth
within this group. Weekly prayer meetings are available and
social activities are regularly planned. An annual golf tournament
is one of the highlights of the year. Follow the weekly announcements
for special event details.
Missions
Nazarenes embrace the call to "go and make disciples
of all nations". Because we take God's mission call seriously,
Nazarene Missions International (NMI) purposes to mobilize
the church in mission through prayer, education, giving and
interactive experiences. We provide opportunities for people
of all ages to become a vital part of World Evangelism through

Music

Here
at Calvary, music is one of the many ways we give thanks to
our Heavenly Father. Together, we blend instruments and voices
in praise. We are blessed to have many different talents from
and degrees of accomplishments from high school students to
professional musicians. We intertwine traditional and contemporary
music to bring diversity to our Worship to God. We feel the
importance of reaching out to our world with many different
Worship styles. We have choirs, soloists, bands and ensembles
for you to be involved in. Contact our Music Director or any
member of the music department to get involved.
Prime-Time
Fellowship
- Who?
Ministering to Senior and Middle-age Adults ages 55 and
over
- Why?
To draw us closer together with a special time in fun, food
and fellowship
- Where
/ When? We meet once a month at the church or outings
like picnics, singing Jamborees and etc.
- What
for? To help each of us become better acquainted
with each other and to become better friends in Christ.
This is also a special ministry outreach for those in this
age group.
Women's
Ministries
Apopka Calvary Women's Ministries is designed to help meet
the spiritual and social needs of our ladies. We want to minister
to them spiritually, support them socially, encourage them
emotionally, and educate them to be Godly women in their homes,
to their families and friends, and in their workplace and
community.
We have
weekly Ladies Bible Studies, and a variety of activities to
give ladies an opportunity to meet and get acquainted, share
and encourage, and grow to become the women God intends.
Youth
Ministries
Our ministry exists to reach students, to connect with other
Christians, to help them grow in their faith and to challenge
them to discover their ministry and honor God with their lives.
At Calvary, young people are equipped to lead, to witness,
to serve God and to live Godly lives. Our young people are
challenged to grow in their faith, and are loved and helped
by a mature, caring staff to find their place in ministry.

Youth:

Studies include topical discussion and culturally and socially
relevant issues.

Night Live provides an opportunity for Praise and Worship
Many
other activities, Bible studies, outreach opportunities and
ministry options give young people the chance to explore their
