GAK56
is a ministry of Apopka Calvary Nazarene for 5th and 6th graders.
They often feel too old for Children's Ministries, and are
usually too young for Youth activities. Somewhere in-between
children and youth, our "Tweeners" have a ministry
all their own. We call it, "GAK56."
GAK56
meets Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. and Wednesday nights at
7:00 p.m. in the GAK56 Room.
On Sundays
at 10:45 a.m. the GAK56 Worship Team leads music for Children's
Church in the Faith Factory.
The
GAK56 YES Team does several service projects during the year
- like cooking "Breakfast for Dinner" at the Ronald
McDonald House and doing yard work for elderly church members.
We're
5th and 6th Graders and that means we like to have FUN! So,
just for fun, we play games, we eat donuts, we have Sunday
school at Burger King. We are creative, we draw, we sing,
we jump around and we laugh as we learn. We're GAK56!
