Marj, one of the very few Apopka-born (November 14th) ACN volunteers is in charge of GAK56 - a program designed especially for 5th and 6th Graders. "Too old" for the Children's department, and "Too Young" for Youth, GAK 56 creates an environment to meet the needs of this energetic, fun-loving, inquisitive group of kids. She also works in the Youth Department as head of Creative Ministries and helps students prepare for TNT@TNU, Christmas programs, and just about anything that requires teenagers to use their artistic talents for God.

She married Dave on September 17th and they have two daughters: Taylor, 14; and Allie, 10. The entire family is actively involved in ministry and worship at ACN.

As for influence, her dear friend Donna is the person she points to as the most influential in her life.

She is pretty sure she has hidden talents, just hasn't been able to unearth them yet!

Marj has a CDA (Child Development Associate) Degree from Seminole Community College. "A long time ago," while teaching at a private Christian school, she began serving at ACN. Even though she has moved into a new career, she continues to serve here at the church. Why? Because she loves working with all the kids and she is passionate about sharing Jesus with them and their families.
