Pastor Jose Matamoros was born in San Jose, Costa Rica on November 22. He married Teresa on August 10 and they have four children: Rebeca, Jonathan, Daniel, & Ruben

Pastor Jose earned his MDiv degree from Eastern Seminary and a PhD from Vision International University. In 2007 Pastor Jose and his wife started Casa del Rey Spanish Church at ACN. Pastor Jose enjoys the family oriented approach in his ministry at ACN.

His Lord Jesus and his beloved wife are the two most influential people in his life. He is passionate about missions and evangelism.

Pastor Jose has some hidden art talents - he can draw and paint. He also enjoys media ministries, radio production, multi-cultural events and learning other languages. He loves nature, hiking and horseback riding.
